In this case, students are expected to be able to take advantage of knowledge from courses that have been studied previously. The objectives of the final project Capstone are as follows:
- Apply engineering processes for students to solve real-world problems (capstone design).
- Improve aspects of soft student skills (communication, coordination, collaboration, responsibility, etc.).
The output of this final project can be in the form of prototypes or products that are the result of the engineering process, especially in the design of the problem-solving process. Thus the novelty aspect in research is not the main thing that must be met in this final assignment scheme. The prototype produced from the Capstone Final Project became the basis for obtaining a copyright for students and institutions.
