School of Computing Organizes Knowledge Sharing Gap Analysis and Risk Assessment

Competition in the global world is increasingly widespread, including the international world. Both national and international companies are looking more at High School / Vocational School with ISO 9001: 2015 certification because they have guaranteed the quality of the management process. Where the elements of a good school are not only in the education curriculum that is considered, but the quality of school management is an important factor.

ISO 9001: 2015 is a quality assurance system certification for an organization, where this standard does not only focus on the results to be achieved, but the process also becomes a matter that needs attention. The communication process and coordination flow in the school will create a system with work descriptions, the person in charge, and standard operational procedures (SOP).

And to ensure the effectiveness of the system, an audit needs to be carried out, both from internal and external schools. Because this audit will find system weaknesses which will then be corrected, measurement of the process must be done regularly.

The Telkom Education Foundation has targeted Bandung TELKOM High School to carry out ISO 9001: 2015 certification in 2019. However, to date, Bandung TELKOM High School has never carried out any activities and does not yet know the preparation for the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 certification.

However, they have not been able to follow up due to the unavailability of resources to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.

Based on data preparedness analysis of the implementation of the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015, then in this community service activity, we intend to increase the resources in Bandung TELKOM High School through Knowledge Sharing activities especially in understanding Gap Analysis and Risk Assessment.
