Once again, the School of Computing students once again performed at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards) international arena. The Rhythm team from the School of Computing, Telkom University, once again brought home the Merit Awards in the Tertiary Student Project category.

This year, the APICTA Awards will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on December 7-10, 2017. The judging will be held at the Radisson Blu Water Garden and the awards night will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC). The 2017 APICTA Awards will be attended by the best participants from the entire Asia Pacific region.

The team’s rhythm from Telkom University was an Indonesian delegation in the APICTA 2017. The event consisted of Abdul Rahman Safari, Fiona Ramadhani Senduk, Dani Agung Prastiyo, Faishal Rahman, and Musa Abdul Aziz creating the Adaptive Arrhythmia monitoring system. The team was guided by one of Telkom University lecturers, Dr. Satria Mandala.

In the awarding session on August 17, 2017, one of the Teams from the School of Computing of Telkom University, namely the KnocKnock Team won 1st place in the “Most Innovative e-Health Solution” category.
