The School of Computing Lecturer Provides Language Training to District Staff
Bandung, SOC – Telkom University . As a university, Telkom University continues to intensify its efforts to carry out the Tridharma function. One of them is the community service conducted by the School of Computing lecturer. They invited public service staff in Bandung City and Regency to use good and correct Indonesian language and to master practical and communicative English in language training held on Thursday (12/6).
Located at the Computing Laboratory, dozens of public service staff from various sub-districts in Bandung City and Regency enthusiastically participated in “Good and True Indonesian Language” and “practical and communicative English” material. One of the speakers at this event was an Indonesian Language lecturer at the Faculty of Informatics, Dias Puspandari.
According to one of the organizers of the community service Narwan Ginanajar, he hopes to contribute in educating public servants, especially in the use of Indonesian grammar. “The hope is to improve good Indonesian grammar, especially in the city of Bandung,” he said.
The School of Computing often organizes community service activities. In one semester, at least two to three community activities are carried out. “We usually hold Community Service activities between two and three times in one semester. Previously we also held computer training for Community Health Centers, doctors, and other health services, “Narwan added. (Purel / Telkom University).
