MAKING INVENTORY/STOCK OPNAME APPLICATIONS AT LOCAL CLOTHING SHOPS ON JALAN DEWI SARTIKA, BANDUNG

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the economic sector in Indonesia. Various protocols that must be implemented such as preventing crowds, setting service hours, and limiting the number of customers or workers have resulted in many shops experiencing losses, especially local clothing stores in the vicinity, precisely in the area of Jalan Dewi Sartika, Bandung. Many of these local shops lost customers because the conditions in the store were not possible and this had an impact on the local store’s economy. Local clothing stores received a significant impact, not only the customers were reduced but the number of employees was also forced to be reduced. With a reduced number of employees, of course, the process of checking and collecting data on goods becomes more difficult.

From the problem at the local clothing store, to increase efficiency and reduce the mobilization of the movement of checking goods manually during a pandemic, a solution is needed. Our group has a solution, namely making a compact and lite application based on Android that almost everyone has, the application is in the form of an inventory/Stock Take that can make it easier for employees at a local store to assist the process of collecting data on goods such as finding out information about an item being sold or remaining stock items.

By minimizing crowds and increasing the efficiency of goods management at local stores, an Android-based inventory/Stock Opname system was created at the store, the output target being counseling and providing the application to the surrounding community who shopped, especially in the area of Jalan Dewi Sartika, Bandung.

The following is information from a local clothing store that we provide counseling in the form of socializing the use of the inventory/stock taking application at a local clothing store on Jalan Dewi Sartika, Bandung.

Applications are built using the Appsheet platform, which is free and has an easy-to-understand interface. We provide counseling about what features can be used in the inventory/Stock Taking application , view data through spreadsheets, and also how to make feature changes with the Appsheet. We also provide the email used in building this application so that the store we provide counseling to can make changes according to their wishes at the same time if they want to deploy .
