Bachelor of Informatics Engineering Received 2015 Most Scopus Publication Award

Bandung – SOC, Thursday (02/26/2016), the School of Computing again received an award. In Decree No. KR. 049 / ORG6 / DAK / 2016, Chancellor of the Telkom University established the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering Major as the Best Major for the Most Scopus Publication Performance with a total of 55 in 2015 yesterday.

Scopus is the world’s largest data center covering tens of millions of scientific literature. Scopus’s main function is to create an index of scientific literature (can be life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences, and health sciences) to provide accurate information about the metadata of each scientific article individually. What is metadata? Metadata contains the title, abstract, author’s name, and keywords. Also, Scopus includes a data center regarding patents that have been registered in several of the world’s principal patent offices.
