The School of Computing Successfully Holds the 2014 National Seminar on Computational Sciences and Informatics Engineering
Bandung, SOC – Monday (12/22/2014) located in the Multimedia Room of the 2nd Floor LC Building, the School of Computing held the 2014 National Seminar on Computational Science and Informatics Engineering. The National Seminar on Computing and Informatics Engineering was a seminar initiated by the School of Computing to facilitate research publications researchers in Indonesia, explained Nungki, chairman of the Committee for the 2014 National Seminar on Computational Sciences and Informatics Engineering. Nungki added that the National Seminar on Computing and Informatics Engineering would take place every year and for the first year was the theme of Smart ICT for Indonesia Encouraging Research Towards. “This year we have received 43 scientific papers from participants who have gone through a review process by the reviewer team”. “Later the paper will be presented by each participant,” Nungki concluded.
The first event of the 2014 National Seminar on Computational Sciences and Informatics Engineering, was filled by the speech of the Dean of the School of Computing, Dr. Maman Abdurohman, who was also named the Keynote Speaker. In his remarks, Dr. Maman said: “the purpose of this seminar is to communicate some of the results of research from academics and practitioners in the fields of computational science and informatics.” Not to forget, Dr. Maman congratulated the participants on the seminar and thanked him for his contribution to this seminar. “Hopefully this meeting will make a positive contribution to the progress of our nation and country, beloved Indonesia,” he concluded.
