Telkom University School of Computing Team First Winner at Bandung Hackathon Merdeka 2.0 Regional
Bandung – SOC, Hackaton Merdeka 2.0 was held simultaneously in 28 cities in Indonesia, where Bandung was one of the participants. The opening of the event in Bandung was attended by the Founder of the Independent Hackaton representing Code4nation, and of course, it was also inaugurated directly by the Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil. The event was held for 24-25 October as well as commemorating the Youth Oath Day, with the theme of population.
From around 60 teams participating in the Telkom University, sending nearly 12 teams competed in the event. Then 10 teams were taken who had the opportunity to present to the judges and audiences about the applications they made.
In this competition the application of Posyandu from the Proclub Telkom University team consisting of Nanda Budi Prayuga (Bachelor of Informatics 2013), David Mushthofa (Bachelor of Informatics 2013), Bagus Cahyono (Bachelor of Informatics 2013), and Reza Stallone (Diploma in Informatics 2014) won the main champion for the population category.
This Posyandu application is useful to help cadres in registering community information only by using apps that are accessed on mobile devices and can be easily accessed.
The leading champion in this event gets one MacBook Pro, domain, and free Cloud hosting from idcloudhost.com. Later the team that won the contest will continue the next competition in Jakarta as a representative of the city of Bandung.
The entire School of Computing academic community of Telkom University congratulates the Telkom University School of Computing Proclub team for the first prize won, and safely competes in the Grand Final in Jakarta!
