The benefits obtained from the status of these ambassadors include getting a certificate and being invited to Samsung Developer events. Besides, they will also get mentorship about Samsung API & Technology and networking with professional developers and other ambassadors.
Before won this achievement, the students have followed several stages. They are beginning by registering their ideas in October last year. After that, their agreed plans will be returned with several notes to be revised. “This process has taken place several times,” Fathurrohman said.
After refining their ideas for several weeks, these students were then selected by Samsung and asked to come to the Bandung Institute of Technology campus. The five teams then competed between them and were selected 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st, and 2nd Hope winners.
Dean of the School Computing Dr. Maman Abdurohman S.T., M.T claimed to be delightful with the achievements of his students. “One of the qualities of the education process is characterized by the emergence of both students and graduates in this event,” he said accompanied by Vice Chancellor 1, Dr. Adiwijaya S.Si., M.Sc.
Although the faculties have not yet fully supported them, Maman said, his party plans to provide supporting facilities in the form of a room on the 2nd floor or 3rd floor which is designed as a camp for students who will take part in the competition.
“If they need some resources, tell us. For example, some teams need large bandwidth, computers, and so on. Because in the future hopefully, the faculty can give more awards, “he said.
