Public Lecture on Strengthening Cryptography Knowledge with Prof. Willy Susilo

Bandung, SOC – Monday (11/01/2015), the School of Computing received the arrival of Professor Willy Susilo. Willy is a Professor in the field of Cryptography. His appearance this time to give a public lecture to students and lecturers of the School of Computing both undergraduate and post-graduate students who are interested in the field of cryptography.

Cryptography, in general, is the science of maintaining news confidentiality. The confidentiality of the news here is information security such as data confidentiality, data validity, and authentication.

“Right now the exchange of information through electronic media is increasing. And in that exchange, security is needed for exchanged data, “said Gia, one of the lecturers who are interested in cryptography.

“So we need an increase in knowledge related to the method of securing information exchanged or to be accessed by various parties,” he continued.

The event, which will last for 2 days at G Building, 2nd Floor was initiated by the Intelligence, Computing & Multimedia School of Computing.
