Introduction of New Student Campus Life 2016

Bandung, SOC Telkom University held another introduction to Campus Life for New Students. Introduction of New Student Campus Life is a campus introduction program for new students who are required to educate as a means of fostering and adapting the campus community or citizens.

The introduction of Campus Life New students is held every year by providing religious activities, basic discipline training, public lectures, seminars, talk shows, and the introduction of both Faculties and Majors to each activity group. The theme for the Introduction of New Student Campus Life this year is to form a Resilient and Independent Youth Generation with the motto Smart Cheerfulness.

Continuing the Introduction to New Student Campus Life at Telkom University, on Tuesday (16/08/2016) it was the turn of the School of Computing to hold the introduction of New Student Campus Life for new students. This year the School of Computing accepts 817 new students. This number is divided into 618 students of the Informatics Engineering Major and 199 students of the Computational Science Major.

Various activities are given to new students, such as the introduction of lecturers and staff and the introduction of facilities and infrastructure owned by the School of Computing. New students are divided into several groups and asked to go to the rooms in the School of Computing. In this activity, students are welcome to ask the staff about the scope of their respective fields or the conditions of the lectures they might face later.
