INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN DDS TELEKOMUNIKASI INDONESIA INC. FOR BACHELOR OF SOC FINAL LEVEL STUDENT

The School of Computing, Telkom University, in partnership with the Digital Telecommunication Communication Division of Indonesia (DDS Telkom Inc.) held an internship program for final level students at Telkom Inc.’s DDS.

The internship program is open to all final-level students of the School of Computing who will or are carrying out the Final Project.

During the internship period, students work full time (full time) at PT Telkom’s DDS (not conducting lectures on campus).

Working time as DDS Telkom Inc. employees (morning to evening, Monday-Friday).

Duration of one semester internship or two semesters. For the first stage, the internship starts in odd semester 2017/2018 (end of August or early September 2017).

For one-semester internship, it is preferred for students who have passed the Proposal Writing Course. For students who have passed the Proposal Writing Course and want to continue working on the Final Project, then the Final Project must be done without interrupting the internship process (done outside the internship hours). Except the Final Project topic is related to work during the internship so that it can be worked during an internship with the approval of DDS Telkom Inc.

For the duration of a two-semester internship, the Final Project topic is adjusted to the work at the time of the internship. For this reason, one Final Project supervisor was sought from SOC, one from Telkom Inc. DDS.

Outside the Course of Proposal Writing (3 credits) and Final Project Courses (4 credits), the internship program is equivalent to a maximum of 9 credits/semester courses. For elective courses, which are equivalent are customized special subjects or required subjects that are possible such as Job Training, Entrepreneurship Courses, and Professional Courses.

Selection will be conducted (especially with interviews) by Telkom Inc. DDS.

Will be given pocket money during the internship.
