Community Service Training for Capacity Building for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Sales through Information Technology Media
Bandung, SOC – Monday (04/27/2015), Telkom University’s School of Computing visited the Micro, Small, and Medium Business Group of the Parahyangan Young Entrepreneurs Association in Padalarang. This visit was the first time for the School of Computing. The aim is to provide training on the use of information technology such as the internet through the use of Facebook, Twitter, and mobile commerce in enhancing the promotion, markets, competitiveness, and the Micro, Small, and Medium Business Group of the Parahyangan Young Entrepreneurs Association in Padalarang sales capacity.
The event was also attended by representatives from the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in West Bandung Regency to review the course of the training program
“This is our first visit, which will continue with the second visit on Wednesday next week,” said Yusza, one of the speakers. “This training will provide 3 materials, namely Facebook marketing presented by Chess Wirawan, twitter marketing presented by Bambang Ari and mobile commerce presented by myself,” he continued.
The participants who were members of the Parahyangan Young Entrepreneurs Association were very enthusiastic in attending the training. Many of the participants asked about using Facebook and Twitter, what are the advantages and disadvantages.
When training enters the practice phase, many of the participants were rather tricky. However, the school of computing has anticipated this by providing 3 speaker assistants who are ready to help the participants. The assistant is a student of the Informatics Engineering namely Hendriyana, M. Iqbal, and from the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering Wayan Prajana.
“In addition to the speakers, we are also assisted by 3 speaker assistants who come from Master of Informatics Engineering,” Yusza concluded.
