Student Informatics Achieves World Rank-6
Bandung , SOC – Informatics students re-incised achievements. Five Informatics students consisting of Laode Ian Harisman, Ritchie Fergindo, Rizqi Lutfia Chandra, Faizal Eko Nugroho, A. Ahmad Nasrullah finally won 6th place in the World in the CyberLympics Global Competition held in Barcelona on September 29, 2014.
The team, named Foresty, finally defeated many competitors from each region, such as Asia, Europe, America, Africa, and Australia, with the guidance of Mr. Gandeva. The Foresty Team previously won 2nd place in Asia in the same competition and has the right to represent Indonesia in the world arena.

4th : Alpaca Hackers, Australia
5th : HoneyBadgers, Peru
6th : Foresty, Telkom University Indonesia
Global CyberLympics is a team game with techniques to hack and maintain computer network security. One team consists of 4-6 members. The game uses an elimination system in each round until there is one team remaining with the best computer security and network security techniques. The purpose of this competition is to increase awareness, learning/education, and ethics on information security, including computer forensics, ethical hacking, and network defense.
