Dean and Vice Dean I of the School of Computing Cycling together with the GTC Community

Bandung – SOC, Sunday (10/01/2016) The School of Computing Dean and Vice Dean I joined in cycling together with ‘Gowes Telkom University Community’ (GTC). The Dean and Vice Dean I of the School of Computing is indeed one of the members who recently joined the GTC community.

GTC is a bicycle community consisting of lecturers and staff in the Telkom University environment. GTC starts from the WhatsApp group, which contains staff and lecturers who have the same hobbies, namely cycling, then grow and increase members become an official community in the Telkom University environment.

The cycling activity on this Sunday starts from Buahbatu CFD to finish in the terrace garden of Cikapundung Siliwangi, BBWS Bandung. During the trip, the group stopped at several places for selfies together such as on KM 0 Asia Africa Road, Bandung Freedom Building, and K-Lite FM Radio.

“This community was formed as a forum for staff and lecturers in the Telkom University environment who have a hobby of cycling, and to succeed in the bike to work movement to reduce congestion,” said one member.

This week’s cycling activity is a bit special because there is a community management election program so that Mr. Hendratno (Telkom University Student Director) was chosen as the person in charge and Mr. Z. K. Abdurohman Baizal (School of Computing) as chairman.
