E-learning Workshop Using Edmodo as Learning Process Preparation to Face Industrial Era 4.0

The development of information technology contributes to a shift in the industrial era towards the industrial era 4.0. It has an impact on changes in the approach and application of a process in various fields, including in the world of education. One example is the application of e-learning systems in schools in order to improve the quality and quantity of teacher and student interactions. By implementing e-learning system, teachers and students can interact not only in class, but also outside the classroom through online discussion forums. In this community service activity, workshop was given to implement the e-learning system using Edmodo to teachers at SMAN 1 Dayeuhkolot.

The application of e-learning systems at SMAN 1 Dayeuhkolot is very minimal because the number of teachers who understand about the application of e-learning system is very low. This is due to the limited number of teachers who have received e-learning workshop. It is hoped that the workshop in implementing the e-learning system will be a solution so that more teachers have an understanding of the concepts and application of e-learning. Thus, teachers will be better prepared to face industrial era 4.0.
