The School of Computing Wins APICTA 2016

Once again, School of Computing students won achievements at the 2016 Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards) international event. The event which was held at the Grand Hotel Taipei, 2-5 December 2016 successfully brought home the Merit Awards in the Tertiary Student Project category.

Is ‘Jantung’ Team consisting of Muhammad Alif Akbar, Shamila. Lusi Husriana Nova, Ihda Husnayain, Hasbi Rabbani and Qhansa Di Ayu Putri with Dr. Satria mandala and ‘Hoome’ Team consisting of Masyithah Nur Aulia, Annisa Riyani, Azka Khoirunnisa, Andika Pradana, Rezka Bunaiya with a supervisor Dody Qori Utama.

APICTA Awards is an international award organized by APICTA and aims to increase ICT awareness in the community and help bridge the digital divide. This program is designed to stimulate ICT innovation and creativity, improve economic and trade relations, also offer business opportunities for investors. There are 20 APICTA member countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, Taipei Chinese, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal, and Vietnam.
